What Is The Composite Bonding Treatment Process?
Composite build-ups are a quick and pain-free process that will dramatically improve the aesthetics of your smile. Here is what to expect when you attend for your treatment:
- We will begin by lightly shaping your tooth to roughen up the surface area for the bonding to be attached too
- A dental liquid will be applied to the treatment area for the composite material to adhere to
- A tooth coloured composite resin putty is then applied to your tooth, covering and filling in the imperfections
- We will then use a curing light which will instantly harden the composite build-up
- In the final step we will polish your new restoration so it blends in with the rest of your tooth and smile.
The treatment will be completed in just one appointment and you will be able to go back to work or enjoy the rest of your day with no discomfort or side-effects.
